What’s success to you? Random day,  random question #3 / Writeflow

Hey everyone welcome back to my blog.  Following up with the “Random  day ” series, this is the third post.  What prompted me into writing this  was a mere question – What’s success to you?  you may google or ChatGPT “how to become successful? “, “what’s success feels like?“etc.  Our social media ingested brain responds money, cars, luxury.  We all think like that(thanks to instagram, facebook and snap chat) .  But what it really means? Find out yourself…

To me?

Times like now 2025 – fast pacing,  Variety of options,  thousands definition and opinions,  pause is what I want .  Nobody knows you better than you!  And deep down I know that what others think of “success ” is not the same for me.  I’m kinda vagant person, wandering, carefree thus I have very “unusual ” outlook maybe unconventional . Now coming to the question,  to me success is a journey.  There’s nothing in this world that you can set as a benchmark and compare it to others to say “oh she has not done this so she’s ineligible for being successfull” blah blah.  Whatever 😶 everyone’s journey is different and so is mine,  What I’ve gone through, done , felt or created maynot be the same as you so what’s the point of comparing?  And it’s so illogical to me.  Why am I criticising this and not giving straight answer ? Well that’s because to others “success” is comparison  and I’ve been a victim of this thing too,  told you earlier  . I was compared by my parents and  they too follow the rules of this so called society that’s  a hypocrite . Frustration couldn’t be in for longer so yeah 🙃.

For me  , It’s serenity.  A good house in the middle of nowhere , has to be strong enough to stand through the storms , can be small I won’t mind .  Stable income not more not less just enough for me to travel,  eat and repeat.  Cars?  I’m not a car person.  Luxuries?  uhm….maybe a souvenir from every country I visit.  I want my adulthood to not be “ordinary” ( 9-5job, bills, tension, stress) I want it to be full of vicinity,  life and enthusiasm.  I have a very different outlook on this.  Job is necessary but I don’t want it to be choking (impossible all the corporate world is like that)  .

It’s kinda sounds impractical but since childhood I’ve imagined myself to explore and visit every  country yk like those movies where people go onto explore the world. Secondly i don’t have any objection to work in any field . Ik it’s impractical and very childish but it is what it is.  My inner child wants it and the insane teen inside me finds solace in it can’t help it 👾.

Conclusion

I were to simply put mine in three words it would be – simple, serene, voyage. 

We all have different beliefs , opinions and decisions. I want mine to not be ordinary as I need that thrill in my life.  It maybe peace for others but if I want thrill then why did I write peace?  It’s because I want to deal with my chaos only , not everybody else’s. At Some point of life we all are dealing with other people’s chaos whether it’s family,  friends or something else.  But I want settle down with everyone else’s. ( Not saying that I’ll not be responsible towards my duties,  gonna set my parents in a good environment)  after that I’ll go happily with my own shit.  All that mentioned above was just fine and life isn’t always about you,  it’s always about us.  So yeah… Resposiblities, job, school, and stuff in reality we don’t really have that freedom to enjoy and get lost. Reality  is we have to compromise. 

Still trying,  hoping,  that one day it’s all going be true not extraordinary not lame just “perfect“.

Now I’ll ask again what success means to you, now?

Everyone has different perception of life and so for success.  I would really like to know your outlook on this question  . Comment down your thoughts 💭.

That’s all guys,  we started with the definition of success to way of life.  As I quoted “success is a journey,  it is lived “. Indeed a way of life,  and how you spend it.
